They both started off here as our patients, then bacome our interns, and nowhave officially signed on to be the newest team members of Midwest Family Wellness. Here is some background on these amazing new doctors to enjoy.

Finding a Chiropractor in Dardenne Prairie MO

Amanda Glon D.C.

Tell us a little bit about your background:
I grew up in St. Charles and attended Francis Howell High School. I played competitive volleyball which led me to The University of Tennessee at Martin where I received my Bachelor's in Exercise Science.

What attracted you to chiropractic?
My favorite thing about chiropractors is that they listen. The patient gets to explain their complaint and get to the root cause of the problem instead of just handed a pill to mask their pain. Growing up playing volleyball I battled an injury that made me really appreciate how much chiropractic had to offer. Through the adjustments and the rehab I never had to worry about missing another match. While in school I have been drawn to the pregnancy and pediatric patients.

Describe yourself in 5 words:
Determined, Competitive, Confident, Intelligent, Caring

What do you hope to accomplish in this internship?
While at Midwest Family Wellness, I hope to continue expanding my clinical knowledge. The part I am most looking forward to is interacting with the patients and becoming more comfortable with explaining the procedure to them in a way that they will understand what we're doing. The doctors here are fantastic at teaching and getting the opportunity to listen to them is a learning opportunity in itself.

Anything else we should know about you?
In order to give her patients the best care, Dr. Amanda continues to take courses specific to treating the pregnancy and pediatric population even after her graduation from Logan University. She wants to be the best and give the best.
